The Sherpa XLE from Hunter RMV is a motorhome built on a military 6×6 M1089 A1 chassis, designed to combine ruggedness and extreme comfort.
The model features a 22-foot “habitat box,” 18 feet of which is dedicated to a luxurious living space, with the remaining space used as a garage, equipped with a lift for motorcycles and room for bicycles.
The modern kitchen includes an induction stove, microwave, fryer, and an outdoor grill, while the relaxation area offers a queen-size bed and a leather dining room. There are also two showers (one indoor and one outdoor), a washer, dryer, and two refrigerators for added convenience.
The vehicle is fully prepared for self-sufficient trips, with 454 liters of potable water, high-capacity batteries (800 a/h), and 1,000 watts of solar power. It combines luxury with functionality, offering features such as a GPS system for adventures, LED light bars, a recovery winch, and ample external storage compartments.
The Caterpillar turbo diesel engine delivers 330 horsepower and is paired with a seven-speed Allison transmission, ideal for both tough terrains and high speeds on the road.
Each unit is made to order and takes six to nine months to complete. Although the price has not been revealed, similar models cost around $480,000, reflecting the level of exclusivity and technology offered by the Sherpa XLE, which can travel up to 1,287 kilometers on a full tank.
